The National Softball Association and the Baseball Players Association named Hopkinsville's Tie Breaker Park “The Elite Complex/Parks in the State of Kentucky for 2008.”

The award signifies that the complex went above and beyond of what was asked of them by NSA/BPA in 2008 to make NSA/BPA successful. NSA/BPA works with many complex/parks in the state of Kentucky throughout the year and Tie-Breaker Park was considered the “ELITE” of the class for 2008.

NSA is in its 26th year of operation and is one of two of the largest national sanctioning bodies of amateur softball in the nation. With programs in both youth and adult slow-pitch and fast-pitch, they have teams numbering in the tens of thousands.
