The Kentucky Association of Pep Organization Sponsors, the state’s leading high school cheerleading group, selected the city of Bowling Green and WKU to host the KAPOS 2010 State-At-Large Cheerleading Competition on February 20th.
KAPOS is divided into sixteen regions by KHSAA basketball designations, and each area will host a Regional Competition in January before sending winners to the State. Overall winners from seven categories get a chance to compete for the state title in small, medium, large, or super varsity (females only); small or large coed; and traditional competition.

USA Track & Field (USATF) is the National Governing Body for track and field, long-distance running and race walking in the United States. USATF encompasses the world's oldest organized sports, the most-watched events of Olympic broadcasts, the #1 high school and junior high school participatory sport and more than 30 million adult runners in the United States. Led by President Stephanie Hightower and CEO Doug Logan, USATF is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization with a staff of professional program administrators at the National Office in Indianapolis.
